Eng School is confirmed of going to organise an
Oversea Community Project (OCP) Trip to Laos.
Date for the actual trip is tentatively set on 4th Oct - 13th Oct 2009.
(A week before School Reopened)

All training will be provided so no worries..
Interested participants or volunteers will be trained in the following before you go for the trip. Students volunteer will learn how to be a students leader, a teacher/ mentors to lead the needy students in Lao.
Students volunteer will learn how to set up basic PC.
Students volunteer will learn how to teach basic English.
Students volunteer will learn how to teach basic IT or PC application.(Some basic leadership training and medic training. )
It will be a very meaningful trip and I am sure many of you will never regret and never forget after the trip base on my experience with students to Cambodia a year ago in April.

The other Benefits -
i) The school is going to pay half of your expenses and in addition you may also used Edusave to pay the remainding half of the cost.
ii) Added Value and content to your Profolio

Requirement for the trip.
You need to be committed and set good an example to the needy students as you represent Singapore.
Be willing to help others and a good team player.
And also need to attend for about 10 working days of training and meeting in School.
(Local student stand a higher chance to get approval)
