Hey Guys..
There'll be a Blood Donation Drive happening in TP! It's and event by Applied Science. Here's the info.. :]
Date: 10th, 11th & 12th November 2009
Time: 11am- 5pm everyday
Venue: Auditorium Foyer
Proposed number of donors: 500
Booth will be held outside library from 4th to 9th Nov.
IMPT: Those below 18 needs parental approval. hehehe
There will also be a talk to create awareness on the importance of blood donation during that week.
So yup yup. Do donate your blood aite. It's for a good cause anw.. :]]

22-23 & 26-27 October 2009. The details and highlights of the event are as stated in the above e-poster.

spoilt/valueless handphones (regardless of condition or brand) as well as
old clothes down to the roadshow for donation.

Terry Fox Run For Hope 2009 is a Charity Run organized by Four Seasons Hotel and Regent Hotel held annually. This year, HTMIG is once again working closely with the Regent Hotel to plan for this very good cause.
RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS TO BE PART OF THIS COMMUNITY PROJECT.
You will be deployed as road marshals, traffic control marshals, aid station, etc.
Details of Run For Hope 2009
Date: ACTUAL RACE - 22nd November 2009 (Sunday)
Race Route: East Coast Park
Volunteering Duration: 530am – 12noon (may end earlier)
Meeting Point: Bedok MRT Station @ 530am
No allowance will be given. (It's a charity run; all proceeds will go to benefit the charity organizations!)
*Please do not worry about your transport!
p.s. SEAL POINTS WILL BE AWARDED!

SAA have organised the Fitness Star Programme, FSP. Some of you might not be sure what the FSP is really all about. FSP, started out as a programme aimed at helping all NS-liable students to pass their NAPFA test and also, help them pass their IPPT. It serves as a platform for students who want to keep fit and yet could not get started on a training programme or they do not know how to start on a correct programme. As planning continued, FSP was seen to have potential to grow into something bigger. It is hoped that in the future, FSP could reach out to not only Ns-liable male students but also to all students of Temasek Polytechnic. Although it is only aimed at Ns-liable students for now, it is still going to be a large number. Also, in the future, it is going to reach out to the whole of Temasek Polytechnic as mentioned. Thus, it would be greatly appreciated if you and your club could help us out in the pioneer run for this programme AS TRAINERS. We are recuiting trainers as part of this program, together at the roadshow, there's a booth to sign up to be a trainer for FSP. Clubs and Student Union we sincerely welcome you and your sub coms to join us as trainers to help in our TP population. You all are able to send in the namelist to me through this e-mail or approach our booth at our roadshow between 11-3p.m. Below will be the information/schedule you may inquire of, therefore it has been typed out for reference, if there is still any doubts, please feel free to contact me. Here are the details of the programme.Briefing for FSP trainers-Thursday, 22/10/09. FSP training time slots-Wednesday: 1500hr-1700hr-Friday:1500hr-1700hr & 1700hr-1900hr Commitment level and all your other questions will be answered during the briefing on Thursday.
